Description
- Item No. S05536-1 Oolong Fine Ti Kuan Yin (Iron Goddess of Mercy)
- Being native to the county of An Xi, Fujian, China, Ti (Tie) Kuan Yin Oolong (loosely translated as ‘Iron Goddess of Mercy’) is semi-fermented only until the edges of the leaves start to turn brown. Their large leaves and full flavored tea remain greenish brown with an amber color and chestnut aroma. This Oolong is considerably lower in acid content than other black teas. The tightly twisted leaves produce an aromatic, brownish-orange liquor that has an invigorating, full-bodied taste with a long-lingering aftertaste. It is reputed to be a digestive aid and is frequently served with a meal. Click here for the story…
