• Earl Grey tea is following the name of Charles Grey, British Prime Minister in the 1830s. He reputedly received a gift of tea flavored with natural Sicilian bergamot oil from a fragrant citrus fruit. Legend has it that during a visit to China, Grey rescued a nobleman. In gratitude, the nobleman gifted him a recipe for black tea infused with bergamot oil, marking the origin of Earl Grey’s distinctive flavor. This tea is a favorite in Britain and in America. With the majority of our premium China Keemun as base tea, it has a light refreshing taste and an unusual flavor. Compounds in bergamot and black tea may act as antioxidants, promote healthy digestion. It also may lower your cholesterol and blood pressure levels. English Earl Grey tea can be severed hot or iced with or without milk or sugar during anytime of a day.  Furthermore, our Earl Grey tea collection offers the ideal harmony of robust tea flavors and lively citrus notes.
