Actually, this tea with a twist is a pair to Be Lo Chun (Green Snail Spring) and comes from Fujian province in China. It is by definition a spring bud tea of considerable renown. Their leave’s sizes are very close to Yunnan Black Congou and carefully rolled into the shape of small spiral. It is also the only Black tea that their leaves are tightly rolled in the US tea marketplace. The tea leaves begin as two leaves and a bud with full mouth-feel in a rich black tea. If you brew it with a see-through glass, you will watch the buds soften and open into plump shoot tips.
